Terms of service
These terms are the agreement between you and Simon Mortensen, sole proprietor ("we", "us") for Revenue Driver Tree (the "service"). By signing in, starting a trial or buying a plan, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Who the service is for
The service is for business use only. By using it you confirm that you act for a business or organisation, that you are at least 18, and that you can bind that business to these terms. "You" means that business.
If you are an agency or consultant connecting a client's GA4 property, you confirm that the client has allowed you to do so and to see its figures in the service.
The service
Revenue Driver Tree reads your Google Analytics 4 data, with read-only access, and shows you what changed your online revenue and by how much. It depends on Google and on the GA4 data you have. Your use of Google's products stays under Google's own terms, and we are not responsible for Google changing, limiting or withdrawing its services.
How we handle your data is in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
How access works
- Access is sold per GA4 account, not per person. Anyone whose Google sign-in can read the properties of a paid account can use the service for it, and can see that account's plan and end date.
- Only the person who bought a plan can open its billing. Buy it with a login you are willing to keep that role with.
- You are responsible for who can read your GA4 accounts. We do not check the people you have given access to in Google.
- You need to be allowed to read the GA4 property you connect. The service cannot give you access Google has not given you.
Trial
Each GA4 property can be tried once, for one month of its data and the same month a year earlier. Starting a trial uses it up for everyone who can read that property, and the service asks you before it does. Other periods stay locked until the account has a plan. The trial belongs to the property, so a property that moves into a paid account gets full access there.
Plans and payment
- The plans on offer, and their prices, are shown when you buy. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Prices exclude taxes unless it says otherwise.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. A lifetime plan is a single payment (see below).
- Payment is taken by Stripe, on Stripe's pages. We never see your card details. You agree to Stripe's terms for the payment.
- Taxes: where the law requires us to collect VAT, sales tax or a similar tax, we add it at checkout. If you are a business with a tax number, give it at checkout, and where the law allows, the reverse charge applies and you account for the tax yourself.
- We change the price of a subscription only for a renewal that starts at least 30 days after we tell you. You can cancel before it applies.
- If a renewal payment fails, access continues for a short grace period, then ends until payment is made.
What "lifetime" means
A lifetime plan gives one GA4 account access to the service for as long as we offer the service. It does not mean the lifetime of any person or business. If we stop offering the service, we tell you at least6 months before, and lifetime access ends then.
Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel a subscription at any time in the billing portal, as the person who bought it. Access then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged.
- Refund within 30 days. Email revenuedrivertree@gmail.comwithin 30 days of your first payment for an account, or of buying a lifetime plan, and we refund it in full to the payment method you used. We do not need a reason.
- A refund ends the access that payment gave. Refunding a lifetime plan, in full, ends that account's access, and so does a payment dispute or chargeback on it.
- After 30 days we do not refund a payment, nor the unused part of a period already paid, except where the law requires it.
- Refunds go back through Stripe and can take several business days to reach you.
What you may not do
- Get around the trial, the locks on periods or the paid-access check, or help others do it.
- Resell or share access in a way the access model above does not allow.
- Copy the service's content or formulas for a competing product, scrape it, reverse engineer it, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission.
- Use the service to break the law or someone else's rights, or to overload it.
Your data and ours
Your GA4 data stays yours. You give us a limited right to read it and process it, only to provide the service to you. The service itself, its design, formulas and text belong to us or our licensors. You get a right to use it for your business under these terms, not to own it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without paying you or crediting you.
How far to trust the figures
The figures come from GA4 and are only as good as what GA4 reports. The service marks where they are approximate: for example, user counts can be over-counted when added across days and segments, and session counts can differ by a few per cent depending on how they are split. Exchange rates are European Central Bank rates. "Estimated revenue potential", "gain" and similar are estimates of what a gap could be worth, not forecasts or promises. Business decisions you take from them are yours, and the service is not financial, tax or other professional advice.
Availability and support
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we may change, add or remove features. You can reach support atrevenuedrivertree@gmail.com.
Warranties and liability
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES BEYOND THOSE STATED HERE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFIT, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD IT WAS POSSIBLE. Our total liability to you for everything connected with the service in any period of 12 months is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event. None of this limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud, willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the service, or do not pay, and we tell you why where we can. If we end a paid plan because you broke these terms, we do not refund it. If we end it for any other reason, before the end of the period you paid for, we refund the unused part. Sections that by their nature last, such as liability and the law that applies, continue after the service ends.
General
- Changes. We may change these terms. For paying customers a change applies at least30 days after we tell you, by email or in the app. If you do not accept it, you can cancel before it applies. Otherwise a change applies when it is posted here.
- Whole agreement. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us for the service. If a part is found invalid, the rest stands.
- Transfer. We may transfer these terms to a successor of the business. You may not transfer yours without our written consent.
- Events beyond our control. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something beyond reasonable control, such as an outage at Google, Stripe or the host.
- Sanctions and export. You may not use the service where that would break applicable sanctions or export laws.
- Language. The English text governs.
Governing law and disputes
The laws of the State of Delaware, USA apply to these terms, without their rules on conflicts of laws. Any dispute about the service or these terms is brought only in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we both accept those courts' jurisdiction. Before either of us files a claim, we agree to write to the other and try to settle it for 30 days.
